A younger person might try to challenge your authority. They're testing you, wanting to know how far they can go and it's up to you to set the boundaries. If you play along with their little game, make sure you're the one who makes all the rules! Likewise, living up to another person's high standards isn't easy but you aren't a quitter and one way or another you will manage to meet their expectations.

Just because someone doesn't live up to the expectations you have of them, it doesn't mean they've let you down. Expecting too much from other people forces them to try to be who they aren't.
