Others can be forgiven for thinking you are sulking when you send out stay-away signals that you don’t want their company and you’d rather be on your own, alone. If you really do have things to do and prefer your own company let them know rather than leave them thinking you’re a moody martinet.

You’ll paint yourself into a corner by being so stubborn and refusing to budge once you’ve formed an opinion. Don’t be too proud to admit when you’re wrong, strive to be flexible when someone comes up with brighter and better ideas than yours and you’ll defuse a silly feud or vendetta.

As much as you would love to give someone a piece of your mind when they play for time, let them come to their decisions as and when. Push them too far and they’ll only blame you later when things go wrong. Leave people to make their own choices and then they cannot hold you liable or responsible.

You’re too sensitive and it will hit you hard if you feel that someone is annoyed or upset with you. You would much prefer that people came right out and said what’s on their mind so you can discuss the matter and get it over with. Someone gets perverted pleasure out of letting a tense situation drag on.

Can’t people see how busy you are without adding more pressure on you? As time-consuming as a job might be some people still think you can fit in a wee favour just for them. Remind others that you have more urgent duties and you could do with a helping hand yourself let alone lending one to them.

Confusion reigns. Your ideas make perfect sense to you but they’re not so understandable as far as others are concerned. If it’s a stranger you’re dealing with, make sure you are both talking the same language to prevent wasting time or getting the wrong job done. It’s worth dotting I’s and T’s.

A lack of persistence and perseverance plus a reluctance to follow ideas through to their logical conclusion will leave your world in a state of flux. The only way to get through this potentially irritating day is to install a properly organised system that leaves your mind free to focus on the job in hand.

Waiting for things to get done is just like watching a kettle boil. Life is slow, conversations and meetings are long and drawn-out, people drag their heels and you’re in the middle of it all - bored, restless, agitated and wanting to get a move on. Time to take action on your own.

Some ideas are easier in theory than they are in practice, especially if you decide to enjoy a day off from your usual routine. There’s always someone or something demanding your attention: it’s time to prioritise but realise any decision you make could set a precedent - think carefully before you do.

Trust to your instincts and ignore those who are too quick to point out the negative aspects of your plans. Whether they are deliberately being awkward or critical, make it easy on yourself by remaining positive in the face of adversity. After all is said and done you’ll enjoy the last laugh.
