Beware of what you say around children, as they are very impressionable now. If you have certain prejudices, keep them to yourself. Your young friend will have years and years to develop their own ideas on the subject. In the meantime, rejoice over their 'anything goes' philosophy. Who knows? Be very cautious with your money, especially if you share your resources with a partner. You should consult with your mate before buying anything expensive. In the event you are in debt, it is better to defer personal purchases so you can fulfil your obligation. It is especially important to pay back friends and relatives who sacrificed their own comfort to help you. You'll feel much better once you fulfil such obligations.

Don't expect too much from others, especially neighbours or siblings. These people have their own lives and may not be able to help you. This comes as quite a disappointment, especially since you try to lend assistance whenever you see a chance. Instead of dwelling on your hurt feelings, see if you can hire someone to tackle chores. True, this will put a dent in your budget, but at least you'll be free to pursue more important work.

The temptation to buy yourself a brand new wardrobe will be strong, but don't go shopping yet. You have several financial obligations that need to be fulfilled before you spend money on fashion. Part of the problem may be that you haven't pared down your wardrobe yet. Once you discard or donate any clothes you haven't worn in a year, you'll realise you have a lot more attractive items than you first realised.

Deep down inside, though, you know you've got to make a change, if only to develop your talent and move to the next level. Although you enjoy serving others, you have to admit you've outgrown a certain position. Take this opportunity to explore opportunities related to work or education. Even the simple act of filling out an application is a step in the right direction.

Don't pretend you know more than you actually do, or you could be embarrassed. It's important to defer to people who have more experience or education than you. It's also essential for you to give people the benefit of the doubt. Just because someone doesn't look like an expert in a particular area doesn't mean they are lying. You could be pleasantly surprised by an offbeat character. Judge this person's abilities on their work instead of their appearance.

You may think you have more resources than you actually do. Don't make any work related purchases until you check with your boss or you could get in lots of trouble with the powers that be. It's also important to keep your beliefs to yourself. You never know who will find your ideas distressing. Older people are especially quick to take offence at theories that don't mesh with their own. Save the philosophical discussions for another day, preferably with your peers.

Don't put your needs ahead of everybody else's, or you could make a lover or child resentful. If you make a promise, be sure to honour it, even if it means putting forth more effort than you originally intended. Also, don't break an appointment if a better offer comes along. Whether you realise it or not, your opinion means a lot to the people you love. When you invest time, money and affection in others, their self esteem will grow.

The longer you neglect your creative abilities, the harder it will be to find happiness. In fact, you might forget to exercise compassion with regard to others because you've forgotten to treat yourself with kindness and consideration. If somebody accuses you of being an unyielding taskmaster, lighten up. Be especially generous towards yourself. An artistic pursuit could even earn you money, if you're so inclined.

A friend could encourage you to develop a wonderful idea. This person isn't just trying to bolster your ego; your brainstorm really does have merit. An older business associate or romantic partner may not be as enthusiastic. That's because he or she is afraid their power will be eclipsed once you find success. And while your relationship won't stay the same if you pursue this idea, it doesn't mean you'll grow apart. It's entirely possible you'll become much closer.

Abusing your power could end up backfiring in the long run. If you've been entrusted with a certain amount of prestige, you need to wield it carefully. This is especially true as your colleagues are concerned. Resist the urge to get back at a fellow worker who tried to sabotage you in the past. Their efforts didn't work or you wouldn't have the power you currently hold. By being fair, you'll maintain your position with little effort.
