Forget doing anything serious and get down to the job of enjoying the simple pleasures of life. Mollycoddle and be over protective towards a child and you'll do more harm than good. It's better to let young people make their own mistakes, then act as a support system. Think back to when you were this kid's age. Didn't you want to test the waters of adulthood? Of course you did. It's part of growing up.

What do you enjoy doing the most because that's what you should get a load of today. You put an awful lot of stock into expert opinions, but you fail to value your own instincts. Stop worrying about the proper way to do things and listen to your heart. Nobody can tell you what's best for you; they can only guide you down the right path. The rest is up to you.

Mop up your extra cash and save, as much as you can as you'll need money to pay off a debt soon. Envying other people's success won't help you achieve your own goals. If you do anything today, take one step towards a cherished dream. This could be writing the opening paragraph to a book, sending out a resume/CV or cutting out a picture of how you'd like to look or something you'd like to buy and putting it in a prominent place. It just means that they have other ideas about having fun. You have a choice: either follow where they lead or do something enjoyable on your own. Don't let that stop you from asking questions, though. Otherwise, you'll be completely out of your debt. People who are also in the dark will admire your willingness to profess ignorance and still maintain your dignity.

Someone is jealous of your independent spirit but don't turn a hair they are really not important enough. Falling in with the crowd is not an option today. The reason you're so popular is that you have your own eclectic, idiosyncratic style of doing things. If you start copying others, you'll just be another nobody.

How to enjoy the day best, well just find a friend and do what you both enjoy doing together. Club, sports or group activities draw you in, followed by making love or live entertainment. Buying yourself expensive luxuries isn't wise as the best things in life are often free or don't cost much! Learn to prolong your gratification. It's hard to do that in this world of credit cards, but you must persevere. In the end, you'll enjoy quiet comfort while everybody else is struggling to pay off massive debts.
