Friends who don't have time to join social gatherings or to entertain are missing out on a lot. Trying to persuade someone there is more to life than the one area they're currently focused on will only be a complete waste of your time. They're obsessed with achieving their goals no matter what the sacrifice. This does not mean you should pull out of joint arrangements. There are others who will be happy to join you.

No matter how good you are at your job, it pays to keep on top of new developments. If new technology's being introduced into the workplace, be the first in line for training. Improving your skills will help keep you in demand if you're self employed. You like to take your time over your work and when you're learning anything new. This sometimes frustrates people who think more quickly, but once you've learned something, you won't ever forget it!

Everything is as perfect as it can be. Relationships are going well and there's a strong level of excitement in the air. Your interests and affairs will be affected by the influence and actions of people in distant places. There's a lot going on and only you can decide where your true priorities lie. You can keep abreast of all affairs that are important to you if you are organised and remain alert.

A friend or person you are dating is allergic to your pet or has family issues that go way beyond you. They are looking to you to help and even make decisions for them but this is not for you to do. No one should expect you to make changes in your life for their convenience. Neither should they think you can solve their family problems for them. Don't take on their troubles; they are not your burden.

You aren't impressed with an expert's impatience or irritability; after all they're supposed to be a professional. Remember that everyone has a bad day and it is possible they have come up against a number of hitches and hurdles that make it difficult for them to focus. They also have other appointments, meetings and work to get through before their working day is over. Any behaviour has to be put in context; don't misinterpret frustration as them being unprofessional.

You aren't inspired by a friend's addiction to sport or another activity that quite frankly bores you. You respect their healthy attitude towards taking care of their body but there are other things in life that are just as important. Some might call you a workaholic but you aren't addicted to work. You take your responsibilities seriously and always strive to perform a task to the best of your abilities, but you know the benefit of relaxation and switching off, too. Do they?

When no one challenges you over a recent incident which has caused some controversy or confusion, say nothing. You were prepared to have to defend your recent decisions or actions and it should be some relief that the subject seems to have been closed. Others think it best to let sleeping dogs lie so follow their example. Someone gets back to you over some changed arrangements when they might suggest returning to your original preferences.

There is no connection between two events that are so similar it makes the hair stand up on the back of your neck. You might wonder whether the Universe is sending you a message. Discussing your feelings with a group of friends is unlikely to get you any further when the sensible ones will have a perfectly logical explanation for it all; whereas the sensitive ones will agree with you that there is something spooky going on!

You can cope with all sorts of things but a huge apathy within a group or community is hard to understand. Where you welcome and embrace new ideas, others are holding back. You might get the impression most are reluctant to support change because it will mean more work for them. One way or another you intend to get your views across because you feel so strongly. Anyone who is allergic to hard work doesn't fit in with your plans.

Your boss is out of touch and seems to have no idea how much is being done to cover up their mistakes. You don't mind it when they receive praise for work you have done, occasionally, but when they're doing less, they aren't backing you up and they don't seem to have any idea about what is really going on. Your professional life would be so much easier if they stepped down.

You would appreciate some advice from a practical friend only they aren't answering your phone calls. Text messages and emails either aren't being received or they're being deliberately ignored. Before you start wondering whether you've done something to upset them, check that they are actually available. It could turn out they're abroad or somewhere with no mobile signal. They will get back to you as soon as they are able to.

An environment you walk into creates an immediate emotional reaction. You've always been sensitive to surroundings and if a place has a spooky to feel to it or you don't feel safe you aren't likely to hang around. Other people might accuse you of having a vivid imagination but they can think what they want. You will follow your inclinations and in this instance you won't let anyone talk you out of it.
