You have to shut your mind off from certain avenues of thought and especially if you're worrying, stop making it worse! It isn't in your nature to completely give up on something or someone while there is still hope remaining. Today try to separate yourself from the subject altogether as you need space to escape certain influences and to think. You are the creator of your reality and you have it within you to get certain difficult matters back to the way you want them.

As long as you understand what you can change about your life and why it is necessary, you won't be disappointed. Try to make the best choices and this means doing what is right for you today. If this doesn't please someone or it goes against what they expect from you, they will have to learn to accept it. The hardest thing sometimes is putting yourself first but occasionally it's exactly what you need to do.

Whatever is bugging you about the results of today's events, learn from the experience. If a joint undertaking isn't going as well as expected, look at it from a different angle and you might generate a different outcome. It's not the best day to travel because your thoughts are elsewhere and what in other circumstances would have been a pleasure, today feels like a burden. You might soon be hearing from a friend you've not seen in a while.

Someone isn't holding back from finding fault and criticising other people. You won't feel at ease with their judgemental attitude nor the competitive aspect creeping into your relationships. It might be time to call it a day. Even if you leave something bad and gain something equally as regretful, the accumulated experiences and new knowledge gained will outweigh the negative side of daring to change courses.

It's not doing anyone a favour if you're making decisions for them without giving them a chance to consider their own views. Trying to control a person will make such a puppet of them that eventually they won't know what is their own doing and how much they're influenced by the one who is pulling the strings. You won't consciously try to control someone else's life but unless you leave them to make their own choices, then it's what you are doing!

Hanging on to a problem sometimes hurts more than the problem itself: isn't it time to let go? Especially if this is a one time hurt and the incident or accident you're grieving over isn't likely to happen again, the best thing you and everyone else can do is: forget it! What does it matter if it's in the past and you have so much to look forward to? Don't let what's gone before prevent you from enjoying what's in the here and now.

Responsibility is not an ugly word and neither is persistence if you're sticking up for your own rights! If someone is responsible for causing you problems there are a number of ways to handle it. You could confront them, avoid them, protect yourself from them or pretend you haven't noticed there is a problem. The latter is the less likely to bring you any satisfaction. Facing up to the challenge will be ultimately more rewarding.

Socialising with relatives or taking a trip out with a housemate is highly favoured. An ability to read between the lines helps improve communication between you and someone you've not been getting on well with. If lately this person has been acting in a secretive or suspicious way, you will soon discover the cause of their behaviour. Reading, watching TV or listening to music might help you unwind this evening.

Accusing someone without being able to prove you are right could cause some future embarrassment. You've never been the kind of person to hit out in spite but can you honestly say you're seeing a situation clearly today? What you saw or heard, may have been distorted or your memory isn't so accurate as you think. Depending on how you handle a problem you will come out of it smiling or with your head hanging low!

You wouldn't be who you are today if you hadn't been through the experiences that are on your mind. There's some sadness when you remember times gone by but there is hope and anticipation for the future too. The strength and wisdom you have gained through the difficult times will keep you stronger for tomorrow. Someone who has faith in you is about to offer you a greater level of responsibility.

Nurture your inner child today by remembering how easy it was to have fun as a youngster and seeking only these basic needs. It is recapturing the childlike glee and delight of new discoveries you should be striving for. Remember that magical way of seeing each day's treasures? Fill your time with fun activities and relaxation and this will do your health the world of good.

It is not the winning that matters: you will be happy to take part as it is the process and not the goal that counts. If for instance you're working towards a mutual aim and this has helped you make new friends and learn from the experience, then it has been well worth your while. For this reason you might take a backseat role. You may not get the acknowledgement you deserve but especially if this is a charitable scheme, you're not in it for applause or ovation.
