A pessimistic attitude about your St.Patrick's Day could cause all sorts of things to go wrong. If you experience a delay or two while running errands, laugh it off. Otherwise, your negative outlook could be a self-fulfilling prophecy. Be especially gentle when dealing with neighbours. A sarcastic comment could be misunderstood as a personal insult.

It seems like friends are unsympathetic to your financial restrictions, which makes you resentful. If they're intent on going out to expensive restaurants and night clubs, count yourself out. You'd rather putter around the house, anyway. Working with your hands may be more fulfilling. Gardening, cooking, or collecting are worthwhile pursuits.

You may be overly concerned about what the public thinks of your private life. The only person you have to please is you. If that means changing jobs, neighbourhoods, or clubs, so be it. You may even decide to break off a relationship that has been causing you pain. It's better to be happy than socially accepted.

Neither a lender or a borrower be, especially under today's planetary influences. Misunderstandings are bound to arise from whatever agreement you make, even if the terms are set down in a contract. Don't ask for any favours, either. Somebody may think that you'll be indebted to them for life as a result. You're better off on your own.

Someone who has been taking advantage of your generous nature could show their true colours. Even if you don't feel used or abused, it may be time to scale back your good works. You need to conserve your energy for personal matters. You may not realise it, but it's enormously tiring to play guardian angel to the world.

A person in a position of authority may not have confidence in your loyalty. There are worse things than valuing relationships over work. Instead of trying to play down your priorities, talk them up. This may cause a temporary disagreement, but over time, the person in question may respect your devotion to friends and family.

Assuming that everybody around you is incompetent is not a good strategy right now. Take this as an opportunity to catch up on small tasks that usually fall through the cracks. Balance your cheque book, or rid your work area of outdated materials.

Relatives and close friends don't understand your desire to march to your own rhythm of life. Part of the problem is that you always try to justify your behaviour. The next time you're tempted to break away from the pack, do it without apology. This will close the door on any arguments that would otherwise ensue.
