Rarely are you so bound by your own chaotic thoughts that you can't come to a firm decision. If you're stuck in a rut with thoughts whirling round in circles getting nowhere, you need to find a way to completely clear your head. If meditation doesn't work, a long walk might help tune you into your inner self and get below all those thoughts you're caught up in to develop a new perspective.

Turning things upside down and back to front still seems to leave you at a loss as to how to resolve a certain situation. There is some gain coming your way but it might also feel as if you've lost something on the way. A meeting or strange occurrence will challenge your ideas of yourself, the world or others. Don't fight the feeling. There is wisdom and lessons to be learned from these experiences.

Make your own plans; don't rely on others to map out the next few days for you. Staying within the guidelines of society or a group you're involved in might also keep you from spotting opportunities which are personally relevant for you. There is no reason why you can't make your own goals and follow your destiny. Sometimes you have to break away from restrictive ties, if only temporarily, to get your bearings.

Once you've made an important decision, whichever way it transpires, take responsibility. If things go in the right direction, all well and good. If they don't, you really must not start blaming life, fate or anyone else for the results. Accept you made the most appropriate choice given the circumstances and you will also appreciate that you must get on with it, no matter what occurs.

An apology you never ever expected is received. Resist the temptation to say anything like 'I told you so' and accept the confession with good grace. Someone surprises you by showing solidarity and support to those in the middle of a crisis. You've not given them full credit for their capabilities and you've had your eyes closed to their true worth. Maybe you owe it to someone, to give praise where it's due?

Don't waste time dwelling on choices you could have made but didn't or offers you turned down. Why brood over the roads you didn't take if it only makes you miserable? There's nothing constructive in blaming past decisions for your current situation. How, for instance, do you know another choice would have lead to a better alternative? Dwelling on the past distracts your focus in the present. It is time to accept what is and make new choices accordingly.

Have you done anything lately to impress yourself? If you're feeling down and your self esteem is in need of a lift, aim to do at least one thing today which will make you proud. It doesn't have to be for yourself. Offer to help a friend who is struggling, do a few errands for an elderly neighbour or volunteer your help at a local charity. If you continue to feel low, you may need to make some permanent changes in your life to find greater fulfilment.

Something you used to hold strong feelings about could change; for this reason curb your stubbornness. Once you've listened to what others have to say you might recognise you've been wrong all along. It's possible it can never all be black and white and you're starting to see the shades of grey. As you accept this, you will be calm enough to consider other alternatives without constantly trying to convince others you are right.

Your intention today is to restore someone's hope when you've noticed they aren't as enthusiastic as normal. If a friend or team mate has lost confidence in a venture and is expecting it to fail there are a number of ways to show it still has possibilities. A concentrated effort may result in a pleasing amount of progress. Even so, you should make it your mission to help someone believe in themselves more, rather than try to find their hope for them!

If you're all at sea and unsure of which way to turn for the better, you aren't likely to make the best decisions. You need to calm down and take stock of the situation. The first point of reference before you start on a journey is to know exactly where you are. How do you know where to find what you need if you don't know what you're looking for? Consider your feelings, your true views and your desires for the future.

You might ask yourself: how long should you wait for something you long for or someone to keep a promise? If for instance you've been going on for months expecting a certain thing to happen, is it worth continuing or should you give up? It could well be the waiting will be valuable if all turns out as expected. It will teach you the benefit of patience and belief. So hang on in there as you are going in the right direction.

Where there are gaps in communication make an effort now, to build bridges. Equally, if there is a breach between what you desire from life and what you are getting, now is the time to find ways to bridge the gap. Rather than let them grow wider, there will be more joy and contentment in connecting them. Don't feel it isn't possible for you to ever get what you want. It is time to mend relationships, explore your dreams and chase after your cherished goals.
