Whatever plans you have for the day, there could be some last minute alterations. Someone might change their mind about a course of action. Either they aren't bothered or they don't realise how much of an inconvenience this is to you and others. This could be one of those rare occasions when you see a selfish side to someone you hadn't known was there. Give in to them and they could drop you in it again and again.

Your mood is more flexible than usual but foolish risk taking is not recommended. Not everything will go as planned but that's because you're working on new methods or procedures. A fair amount of self discipline will be needed as there are plenty of distractions around you. Not only this but if trying out new ideas, you've just got to expect a few bumps in the road.

An older relative who doesn't normally get involved may oppose your ideas or become argumentative. The interest they're showing in your life and relationships may all seem rather sudden but this won't be so at all. It is entirely possible they've been watching from the sidelines for some time. The fact they've spoken their thoughts out loud means they care. For this reason, at least listen to their suggestions.

You might feel tempted to cut a few corners simply because you can't be bothered to put in the effort. In the mood you're in today, you aren't considering the future implications of your decisions and actions. What will other people think about your shoddy workmanship? Will they believe you in the future when you say you can do better? Best to do a good job in the first place rather than run the risk of having to do it all over again!

Some news you were expecting regarding a legal or financial matter may not arrive. This could cause you some disappointment. You might imagine all sorts of negative reasons for the delay but it could turn out this will be to your advantage. You probably won't get a lot done in a day when your mind is in a spin. At least romance will keep you occupied during the evening hours, to the exclusion of all else!

There may be difficulties in a friendship when someone gets caught up in a situation you don't approve of. Whether a friend is involved in a furtive romance or a secret professional deal, you can't endorse this kind of deceit. You see no good coming out of it and you would rather not get involved. Better still, you just don't want to know. If people won't listen to your practical advice, leave them to make their own mistakes.

Private plans will only succeed if you're willing to put time and effort into them. Whatever your aim, you will get nowhere if you make a decision and do nothing about it. There may be the temptation to push aside work, studies or other commitments for the time being. Ask yourself: will you ever go back to them? What is meant as a temporary pause could turn out to be a long term suspension. Keep going if you want to see results.

Working with someone you've not had a lot to do with before helps establish better working relationships. There is a lot going on today and provided you don't set your sights too high, you will make progress. With your mind fully occupied, it could be easy to forget an afternoon appointment. Get someone to remind you, nearer the time. On the more positive side communications are favoured, both at home and at work.

There is so much going on inside your head that no matter where you are, you will prefer to work behind the scenes. It will be easier to concentrate that way. You may have no choice but to let someone down at the end of the day. If they're a true friend, they will understand.

There is a limit to what you can do so accept your limitations and don't get over confident. You will be tackling your work with ferocious energy but it might help to think before you act. It's not like you to be impulsive. If you come across a situation you aren't sure about, get some other opinions. Let other people guide you to make the right choice. Asking for a friend or colleague's help could prevent you from making a mistake.

The deeper you look into a joint financial or legal matter, the more undecided you feel about it. You might suspect someone isn't being as honest with you as they have been making out. Or a partner is not as sensible as you thought they were. Discuss any uncertainties you might have with someone who isn't involved. They will help you see things from a different perspective. Is someone taking advantage by asking you to shoulder responsibilities that should be theirs? You might feel compelled to say yes simply because it isn't in your nature to turn down anyone in need. But isn't this why they've turned to you? Doing a friend or colleague a favour could put you in your partner's bad books when they may have had other plans. Decide what's in your best interests. This might mean saying 'no'!
