An elderly relative will not be the easiest person to talk to but a visit is long overdue. It is time to make the effort to keep your family happy. Some of their views will seem judgemental but they are struggling to move with the times and aren't likely to change their ways now. Keep conversations light and avoid subjects that may cause misunderstandings.

A friend who pleads they're hard up is expecting you to pay their share in group travel plans or social activities. If this is starting to become a regular habit, refuse to oblige. It's about time they paid their own way. If this means they have to miss out on a fun event, so be it.

Several routine matters need your attention. This is disappointing when you were hoping for a little variety to liven your day. Instead of becoming disheartened, accept help offered. A joint effort will have everything cleared up in no time and leave you feeling more optimistic.
