You need to evaluate your priorities now; you can't keep on going without making decisions. You might be facing a situation which will involve stress and this cannot be ignored. This may be a new job, having another child or taking out a loan for a major purchase. Ask yourself how important this is in your life and whether it is your decision or is someone pushing you into it? Such evaluation will help you realise your limitations and priorities.

A decision or incident could have a life changing effect on some level but it's really what you do with it that counts. You might make decisions based on the consequences of current proceedings that make you feel you are moving on by doing something positive. Or you could let it cause problems by looking on this as a stumbling block you can't overcome. Experiences are part of who you are and they will stay with you. Will you look back and feel you dealt with the situation well, or could have done better?

You don't need anything other than the thought of achieving your goals, to give you all the momentum and motivation you need to drive you on. People are trying to motivate you when there is no reason for them to be so pushy. You would be getting on anyway without their involvement; in fact, you might wish they would leave you to it. Be ready to be on the move at short notice, later in the day, thanks to a friend or colleague's unexpected suggestion.

A sudden inspiration sparks of a gem of an idea; pursue this to bring greater fulfilment into your life. If you're a student or working on a research project which requires you to learn new skills, look on this as a positive challenge and not an inconvenience. Changes need to be made if you are going to make progress in a work or educational setting. Work out what your next step should be before discussing plans to others and then do what needs to be done.

Companionship is not the only thing a close relationship is giving you now; best of all is the self respect. A partner knows how to bring out the best in you and seems to see your potential even in areas you don't feel proficient. Sometimes it takes another person to recognise your talents and if someone's pushing you to develop certain skills further, you should listen seriously to what they advise; it could make all the difference to your future hopes and expectations.

A choice must be made whether you like it or not. Whatever life brings, having made this choice beats the other option which is having no alternatives at all! If you don't like the consequences, at least you tried and the consolation is that nothing remains the same forever. If you made the right decision, you can rejoice in your success. It makes good sense to make the most of the situation while it lasts and not rush to push events in one direction or another.

Your thoughts are all over the place these days; meditation might help calm your mind. If you're trying to choose the right action or answer, you can't do this if your thinking isn't clear. Discussing a controversial issue with a business contact will make you see how much they value your opinion. Let them know how much you appreciate having gained their confidence and see if there are other areas of agreement which might help you work together.

Events these days invoke some strong emotions; these aren't always easy to control. It may take a lot of self discipline to restrain your impulses, desire or ego. It's not easy to summon just enough confidence in what you do to impress others but not so much pride that they turn away. If you are in a leadership role, you are going through a learning experience and it will take a certain degree of emotional detachment to see things clearly.

You could go with the mainstream of life making everything reasonably smoothly. Or you might struggle against the current and risk getting nowhere. The choice won't be too difficult for you. You would never be too shy to speak up about your own wishes and if you don't take care of these and follow your own instincts, you would really regret it. Because you're so determined, there's every chance taking the risk will be worth it.

You might be questioning what you have to do specifically to succeed and if there are any rules to follow. Not liking the answer to either question will not deter you; if you have a goal in mind you will find a way to reach it. While you're at it you might draw other people's attention to regulations you see as out-dated or invalid. It's unlikely they will ever be changed unless someone makes an effort to fight the system.

If you share your home with others, encourage a spirit of togetherness rather than making too many decisions on your own. Credit arrangements and anything involving borrowing or lending cash or possessions needs careful thought. Be prepared to look at all choices and alternatives. Make time to discuss what's important in your life with an older male friend whose judgement you always value.

Don't lose hope altogether, despite encountering a small hurdle or upsetting incident. Life can and does bring disappointment, sorrow and pain but it also brings opportunities for fun, laughter, success and satisfaction. If you've not done well in a recent examination or interview, work out what the reasons could be and promise yourself you will do better next time. Learn from your mistakes and over time you will find a way to get round a hassle or obstacle.
