Sometime you forget your pioneering spirit and cling to secure foundations. This is one of those times, especially with regard to your career. It's scary to embark on a field that isn't lucrative or conventional. If you pass up the opportunity to do what you really love or enjoy you will regret it. An adventurer like you with your low boredom threshold simply won't be satisfied with predictable routines or monotony. Besides, no profession is entirely safe from change or take-overs.

Getting the approval of authority figures is impossible today. A certain person in power may not be satisfied with your performance, no matter how stellar it is. If you sense that you're being jerked around, pare back your efforts to the bare minimum. There's no sense in knocking yourself out for somebody who is on an ego trip whilst riding over yours. Their perverse games will only distort your conception of reality.

If you're going to fulfil your potential, get expert help to develop it. This is especially true with regard to relationships. Learning how to argue in a constructive manner will allow you to enjoy the company of others without letting resentments build. Even the happiest couples or friends disagree. The trick is to make your point without destroying the other person's self-esteem or dignity. Look into a workshop or therapy group.

Other people's problems are distracting you from personal business, which is a problem in itself. You can't afford to put off chores for the sake of politeness. If somebody is chewing your ear off on the telephone, don't be afraid to cut the conversation off in mid sentence. It may be the only way to get rid of such self-centred behaviour. A little rudeness can be an asset, especially when you're being used as an emotional dump.

Demands for your time and attention are truly overwhelming; you can only stretch yourself so far. If you're forced to choose between two different engagements, opt for a third: spend the day by yourself. Take a morning off, fill an afternoon with pleasure, and have an early night with a book or the radio. You can't possibly give loved ones quality time until you've replenished your own batteries. Put an end to this crazy schedule!

A results oriented person like you needs to feel like they're being productive at all times. Today, however, it feels like you're trying to sprint through quicksand. Stop putting so much pressure on yourself. If certain plans or schemes aren't working out, set them aside and focus on something else. Better yet, call the whole day off and relax! Even workhorses need rest and get their oats. Put yourself out to pasture and graze, at least for today!

A rare closeness may be developing between you and another, and it's a wee bit scary. Although you welcome the warmth of companionship, it's a little unnerving to have somebody anticipate your thoughts and needs. Let yourself be coy and vulnerable; you'll find that it's pleasant to have somebody allay your insecurities. Your relationship could cause a stir among friends. Don't let your pals probe in to matters that are none of their concern.

Although you're grateful for the support of friends and family, you need to strike out on your own. This may mean entering a field that is completely foreign to them. Don't be surprised if your kith and kin seem mystified by your choice. Just because you share bonds of affection doesn't mean you have the same interests. If a chill enters your marriage or a close relationship, don't worry. It will thaw once folks get used to your new direction.

Ingrained fears are holding you back from expressing your true feelings. These apprehensions may be justified; the fact is, some folks just can't handle the truth. This situation is very uncomfortable; you hate to behave like a hypocrite. Try to evaluate the problem objectively. Will anyone really benefit from your blunt or brusque comments? If not, it's best to maintain the pretence, no matter how ridiculous.

You may be in a situation that restricts your behaviour so much that you're starting to chafe. Look for new opportunities, even if it means giving up a secure position. Although you prefer to know where you are going, that may not be possible today. It's better to abandon an unhealthy environment rather than to cling to it from fear. There may be a struggle ahead, but fortunately, you're not afraid of hard work or effort.

Uncooperative people get on your nerves, but there's no avoiding them now. You'll simply have to grit your teeth and endure their constant complaints. This may be a sign that you've been too lax in your own life. Are you putting up with any situations that are basically unfair? If so, maybe it's time to rebel. Demand better service, more precise results, or lower prices. There's no reason you have to endure second best when you're paying top whack.

Taking on heavy duties is not a pleasant prospect and you're not sure you're up to the job. While you may not possess the desired skills, that doesn't mean you can't grow into the position or acquire what's required. Allow yourself to be baptised by fire. Gigantic mistakes may be made at first, but at least nobody can accuse you of not trying. Sometimes you have to force yourself into unfamiliar territory if you're going to succeed.
